Spectators: 6890 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raymun Taylor made the kick off which started today's match. Gortnasate's Bradagain Lavine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian McOliver in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Gortnasate booed when Brackloon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brion Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bivitas Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brackloon's supporters rose to their feet, but Bivitas Moran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradagain Lavine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian McOliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brackloon's Beag Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Silke in the 27th minute of play. Brackloon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Brendon McLiam scored to the left of an out of position Beag Dempsey, making the score, 1-0. Bivitas Moran charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bivitas Moran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Brackloon got a freekick which was hit by Bivitas Moran. Beag Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon McLiam in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Artuir Mullan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brackloon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gortnasate the free kick. In the 36th minute, Artuir Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raymun Taylor struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Beag Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortnasate. With a little luck, Brackloon's Beag Dempsey got control of the ball when Baran Silke tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Brackloon's goal looked a bit too open when Beamard Cronin came free, but Beag Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match, Baran Silke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beag Dempsey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 44 minutes into the match, Gortnasate's goal looked a bit too open when Damian McOliver came free, but Bradagain Lavine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ardán Lester charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ardán Lester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gortnasate getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ardán Lester hit a great ball. If Damian McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Beag Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Silke in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Gortnasate getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bantry Murphy hit a great ball. Damian McOliver might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bradagain Lavine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian McOliver ran back to his position shaking his head. Damian McOliver struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Bradagain Lavine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brackloon. Beag Dempsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raymun Taylor's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Damian McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradagain Lavine having to interfere. Artuir Mullan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Beag Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Silke, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Gortnasate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bantry Murphy to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gortnasate booed when Brackloon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinn McJohnny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Críostóir McJohnny made a precise shot to the right of Beag Dempsey. Brackloon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 74th minute, Damian McOliver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brackloon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Beag Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Silke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Brackloon's Bradagain Lavine threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brandon Holt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 84 minutes into the match, Gortnasate's goal looked a bit too open when Damian McOliver came free, but Bradagain Lavine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Brackloon got a freekick which was hit by Brion Deans. After 89 played minutes Gortnasate got a freekick which was hit by Baran Silke. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brackloon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gortnasate.
