Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Derin McNamara made the kick off which started today's match. Barnaby McJon scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louie Willson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Bree Gallagher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corrandulla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frevanagh Utd the free kick. After a rather tough play, Corrandulla's Bree Gallagher got a free kick in the 10th minute. Beale Morrison charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beale Morrison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Corrandulla getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Beale Morrison hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Corrandulla got a freekick which was hit by Bearnad McTommy. After 17 played minutes, Frevanagh Utd's Pawd Walker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brennan McGlenn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Frevanagh Utd reached it. Keeghan MaCollin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Louie Willson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corrandulla. When Donall McJohn came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Corrandulla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donall McJohn couldn't finish the play. Fionntán McWill hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Keeghan MaCollin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Louie Willson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Keeghan MaCollin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Louie Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frevanagh Utd's Louie Willson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Frevanagh Utd from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Louie Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keeghan MaCollin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Donall McJohn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louie Willson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donall McJohn in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Louie Willson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keeghan MaCollin took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Louie Willson. Louie Willson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Keeghan MaCollin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrandulla's Donall McJohn got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Louie Willson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keeghan MaCollin in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute Keeghan MaCollin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louie Willson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Frevanagh Utd's zone, Bree Gallagher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louie Willson came out of the goal and Bree Gallagher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keeghan MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louie Willson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keeghan MaCollin in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Louie Willson saved Frevanagh Utd from getting behind. Corrandulla's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
