Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reilly Costello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Lelagh's zone, Boyne McPeter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brite Quinnless came out of the goal and Boyne McPeter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brite Quinnless made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bohannon Kelly in the 5th minute. In the 9th match minute, Gortaheera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry McDonald to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Bohannon Kelly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gortaheera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Bohannon Kelly scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brite Quinnless, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Lelagh's goalkeeper Brite Quinnless had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bohannon Kelly. Brite Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bohannon Kelly in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Gortaheera's goal looked a bit too open when Reilly Costello came free, but Rory Scully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reilly Costello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Reilly Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rory Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bohannon Kelly got free with Brite Quinnless in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bohannon Kelly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brite Quinnless didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bohannon Kelly went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Bohannon Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Quinnless having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Bohannon Kelly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gortaheera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Brine Frankson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lelagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brine Frankson couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Bohannon Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaheera's supporters rose to their feet, but Bohannon Kelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brite Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes, Boyne McPeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaheera and the Lelagh players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lelagh booed when Gortaheera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyne McPeter didn't get a good kick on the ball.
