Donavan O'Down was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Fionn Taylor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fionn Taylor really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Braoin Hamilton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Donavan O'Down made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, Markhamstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keely McStephen to maneuver through the defense. Clifferna Utd's Donavan O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Clifferna Utd from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Markhamstown's Donavan O'Down threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Braedon Hamilton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braedon Hamilton in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donavan O'Down saved Clifferna Utd from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braedon Hamilton made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Markhamstown's Blavock McTom got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Ainnle MaCollin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baptist McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braedon Hamilton in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donavan O'Down prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes, Braedon Hamilton made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Clifferna Utd's Donavan O'Down tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Clifferna Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donavan O'Down should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Fionn Taylor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Markhamstown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
