Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Lack's zone, Renny McPaul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brigid Martyn came out of the goal and Renny McPaul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes Lack got a freekick which was hit by Jarlath Sheridan. 16 minutes into the match, Carranty's Beale McPaul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brigid Martyn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Pierson Palmer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Daithi McTommy to make any attempt to save it. Brigid Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renny McPaul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierson Palmer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daithi McTommy came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierson Palmer slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Renny McPaul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Blanche McPaul fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lack's protests and gave Blanche McPaul a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carranty booed when Lack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blanche McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brigid Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Dillon in the 41st minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierson Palmer to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Beale McPaul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lack's Brigid Martyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Pierson Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Lack's Brigid Martyn got control of the ball when Renny McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Lack getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. In the 66th minute Beale McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Martyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Braoin Grant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carranty's supporters rose to their feet, but Braoin Grant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brigid Martyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renny McPaul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brigid Martyn having to make a save. Beale McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lack's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Beale McPaul scored to the left of an out of position Brigid Martyn, making the score, 3-2. After 80 played minutes, Lack's Bradon McDonald shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daithi McTommy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lack reached it. After a rather tough play, Carranty's Tiomoid Savic got a free kick in the 80th minute. Daithi McTommy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierson Palmer in the 81st minute of play. Logan Colwell was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Lack:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carranty:s goal. The goalkeeper, Brigid Martyn, was totally fooled by Carranty's Roland Moran, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Carranty were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
