Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience was convinced that Dermod Murphy 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradon Byrne was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Riddoc Savic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Bradon Byrne made a huge save. Rollin McSteve kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Herich McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavan O'Down having to interfere. Bradon Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dermod Murphy , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Auley Deery in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donavan O'Down saved Clifferna Utd from getting behind. Herich McOliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donavan O'Down read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Auley Deery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Donavan O'Down tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donavan O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Auley Deery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Auley Deery succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Brasil McCready hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Tairbeart's Donavan O'Down threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bradon McBrandon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dermod Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riddoc Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bradon Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Gordon Ramsey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tairbeart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clifferna Utd the free kick. With his leg Donavan O'Down managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Tairbeart's Herich McOliver fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Donavan O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auley Deery in the 66th minute of play. Herich McOliver in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donavan O'Down, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abbot Lavine's late challenge caught a Clifferna Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abbot Lavine helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clifferna Utd booed when Tairbeart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbot Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clifferna Utd's Dermod Murphy in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tairbeart's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Riddoc Savic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clifferna Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bradon Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riddoc Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cian Martyn hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A hard shot 93 in the game by Herich McOliver from a close distance when the talented Donavan O'Down managed to make a qualified save. Clifferna Utd's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Auley Deery in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donavan O'Down prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herich McOliver got free with Donavan O'Down in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
