Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Braedon Hamilton started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Braedon Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bradagain Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradagain Murphy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Blavock McTom. 8 minutes into the game, Braedon Hamilton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bradagain Murphy. Braedon Hamilton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bradagain Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braedon Hamilton in the 12th minute of the match. Markhamstown's Baptist McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram McGlynn in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Knockrath AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bram McGlynn hit a great ball. Turlough Deery hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bradagain Murphy made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Braoin Hamilton sent off a good shot on target. Knockrath AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Braedon Hamilton scored to the left of an out of position Bradagain Murphy, making the score, 2-0. When Rian Sheridan fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Markhamstown's protests and gave Rian Sheridan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Markhamstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rian Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. Bram McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Baptist McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Markhamstown's goal looked a bit too open when Brecc Dunne came free, but Baptist McCollion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Bram McGlynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baptist McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ross McIan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Knockrath AFC's Bradagain Murphy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Knockrath AFC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Markhamstown's Braedon Hamilton in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Knockrath AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 minutes of play, Markhamstown's Braedon Hamilton made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bradagain Murphy was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Knockrath AFC's Bram McGlynn got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 63rd play minutes Braedon Hamilton shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Bradagain Murphy and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knockrath AFC's goalkeeper Bradagain Murphy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Braedon Hamilton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradagain Murphy was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Fionn Taylor might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bradagain Murphy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fionn Taylor ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 minutes, Braedon Hamilton made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Knockrath AFC's Bradagain Murphy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Knockrath AFC booed when Markhamstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blavock McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blavock McTom hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Braedon Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turlough Deery charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turlough Deery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Turlough Deery kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Braoin Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram McGlynn in the 92nd minute of play forced Markhamstown's goalkeeper Baptist McCollion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braedon Hamilton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradagain Murphy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Markhamstown's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
