Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bram McGlynn made the kick off and thus started the match. If Herich McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Knockrath AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Brecc Dunne hit a great ball. Knockrath AFC's Bradagain Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Auley Deery in the 11th minute of play. Reilley Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradon Byrne having to interfere. Bradon Byrne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reilley Ghee in the 17th minute. After 20 played minutes Knockrath AFC got a freekick which was hit by Reilley Ghee. Bram McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bradon Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tairbeart's Bradon Byrne got control of the ball when Reilley Ghee tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bram McGlynn notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tairbeart's Bradon Byrne. Bradon Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Tairbeart's zone, Reilley Ghee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradon Byrne came out of the goal and Reilley Ghee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Auley Deery notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Knockrath AFC's Bradagain Murphy. Bradagain Murphy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bradagain Murphy came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Tairbeart's Herich McOliver. But to his dismay, Herich McOliver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Bradon McBrandon succeeded in the game's 44th minute to get real power on a long shot . Knockrath AFC's Bradagain Murphy hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-4! Auley Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradagain Murphy having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Auley Deery was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Brecc Dunne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knockrath AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brecc Dunne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradon Byrne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Turlough Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradon Byrne having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reilley Ghee in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradon Byrne saved Tairbeart from getting behind. Reilley Ghee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradon Byrne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Knockrath AFC were awarded a corner. Bellaghy Frankson went to the cornerflag to take it. Reilley Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradon Byrne having to interfere. Bradagain Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auley Deery in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Tairbeart booed when Knockrath AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brecc Dunne didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herich McOliver got free with Bradagain Murphy in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reilley Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bradon Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Bram McGlynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradon Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tairbeart's zone, Reilley Ghee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradon Byrne came out of the goal and Reilley Ghee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beanon Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradon Byrne having to interfere.
