Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ryleigh Palmer started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Farranthomas FC's Blair Colwell got a free kick in the 4th minute. Daithi McTommy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geary Doyle in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Piers Dillon made a precise shot to the right of Austin Tracy. Farranthomas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Braoin Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austin Tracy came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Carranty's Braoin Grant. But to his dismay, Braoin Grant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Cathal Barrett put in a rough tackle. Cathal Barrett hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Roland Moran struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Austin Tracy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carranty. 26 minutes into the match, Farranthomas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beale McPaul came free, but Austin Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Farranthomas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blair Colwell to maneuver through the defense. Austin Tracy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renny McPaul in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Farranthomas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geary Doyle to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Carranty booed when Farranthomas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blair Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Farranthomas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renny McPaul came free, but Austin Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Beale McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Tracy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes Farranthomas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Moran who took care of the corner kick. Carranty's Roland Moran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Austin Tracy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beale McPaul was the one to do the kick off. Beale McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Tracy having to interfere. Austin Tracy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiomoid Savic in the 53rd minute of play. Farranthomas FC's Austin Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beale McPaul in the 63rd minute of play. Austin Tracy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piers Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braoin Grant in the 69th minute of play forced Farranthomas FC's goalkeeper Austin Tracy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 70 in the game by Renny McPaul from a close distance when the talented Austin Tracy managed to make a qualified save. Farranthomas FC's players were relieved. Farranthomas FC's Austin Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beale McPaul in the 72nd minute of play. With his leg Austin Tracy managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Carranty's Renny McPaul fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Austin Tracy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beale McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Derin McVictor kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Renny McPaul took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Austin Tracy. Austin Tracy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 86th minute, Braoin Grant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Austin Tracy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Beale McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Carranty's Beale McPaul ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Austin Tracy. Austin Tracy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Carranty's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
