Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Braedon Hamilton kicked off to start the match. Braedon Hamilton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Torrian Dunne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Markhamstown defense, Troy Mulvihill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baptist McCollion. The Markhamstown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baptist McCollion should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute Braedon Hamilton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torrian Dunne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cregganbaun getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Keely Doherty hit a great ball. Torrian Dunne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braedon Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Blavock McTom in the 17th minute really tested Torrian Dunne's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 19th minute Shannon Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baptist McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fionn Taylor came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Markhamstown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fionn Taylor couldn't finish the play. Braedon Hamilton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Torrian Dunne skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Torrian Dunne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braoin Hamilton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Braoin Hamilton might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torrian Dunne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braoin Hamilton ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Markhamstown booed when Cregganbaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shannon Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fionn Taylor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braoin Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Cregganbaun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keely Doherty to maneuver through the defense. Cregganbaun's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Braoin Hamilton 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Torrian Dunne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braedon Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Braedon Hamilton made a precise shot to the right of Torrian Dunne. Cregganbaun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Braoin Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Troy Mulvihill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cregganbaun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Markhamstown the free kick. Torrian Dunne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braedon Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Braedon Hamilton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torrian Dunne was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 73rdth minute of the game Braedon Hamilton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cregganbaun's Torrian Dunne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blavock McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Markhamstown getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kevis Caffey hit a great ball. When Braedon Hamilton came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Markhamstown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedon Hamilton couldn't finish the play. Braoin Hamilton struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Torrian Dunne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Markhamstown. Markhamstown's Braoin Hamilton got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shannon Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Braoin Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torrian Dunne having to interfere. If Braedon Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Markhamstown's Braedon Hamilton in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cregganbaun's goalie prevented a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Markhamstown's Braedon Hamilton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torrian Dunne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Markhamstown were the better team. Markhamstown's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
