Teddy Dempsey kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Clifferna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Cian Martyn. Austin Tracy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dermod Murphy in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Farranthomas FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Teddy Dempsey hit a great ball. Riddoc Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Byrne in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donavan O'Down prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Aron Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Farranthomas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Byrne couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Dermod Murphy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Austin Tracy, 1-0. When Derin McVictor fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farranthomas FC's protests and gave Derin McVictor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farranthomas FC's goalkeeper Austin Tracy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Aron Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Riddoc Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Austin Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryleigh Palmer was the one to do the kick off. Aron Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavan O'Down having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Aron Byrne got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Donavan O'Down made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ryleigh Palmer sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Clifferna Utd's Ainnle MaCollin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Austin Tracy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Riddoc Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Austin Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austin Tracy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dermod Murphy in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clifferna Utd's goalkeeper Donavan O'Down, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ainnle MaCollin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aron Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ryleigh Palmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donavan O'Down read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
