Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Roordan Sheridan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breandan Gough hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bradon Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bercan Byrne in the 10th minute of play. Roordan Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bradon Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradon Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bercan Byrne in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Athnaleenta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blavock McMichel to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Tairbeart's Bradon McBrandon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roordan Sheridan in the 25th minute of play forced Tairbeart's goalkeeper Bradon Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shannon Ferguson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Tairbeart's Herich McOliver. But to his dismay, Herich McOliver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Bercan Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Athnaleenta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bercan Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradon Byrne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Auley Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Bercan Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athnaleenta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bercan Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Auley Deery in the 45th minute of play forced Athnaleenta's goalkeeper Shannon Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shannon Ferguson made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Herich McOliver sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Auley Deery made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Athnaleenta's goalkeeper Shannon Ferguson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bercan Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bradon Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradon Byrne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roordan Sheridan went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Robin Dunne's late challenge caught a Athnaleenta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Dunne helped the player get up and apologised. Robin Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bradon Byrne made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Bercan Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Herich McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shannon Ferguson having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Blavock McMichel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roordan Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Shey Robinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tairbeart and the Athnaleenta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Athnaleenta booed when Tairbeart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shey Robinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bercan Byrne got free with Bradon Byrne in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Tairbeart's goalkeeper Bradon Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bercan Byrne. Roordan Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradon Byrne having to interfere. If Bercan Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Athnaleenta got a freekick which was hit by Patraic Molloy. The corner led Tairbeart's Bradon McBrandon to fire away a dangerous shot which Shannon Ferguson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
