When Kieran Rutherford fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kishkeam's protests and gave Kieran Rutherford a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Kieran Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Kishkeam's goal looked a bit too open when Gearoid Mullan came free, but Torey McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Barhart Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paulsworth Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Barhart Todd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torey McJames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barhart Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torey McJames having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Benjamin Lester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paulsworth Utd's Alex McCollion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Barhart Todd could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Torey McJames however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gearoid Mullan in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torey McJames saved Kishkeam from getting behind. After 45 minutes of play, Kishkeam's Benjamin Lester made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex McCollion was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Paulsworth Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kishkeam were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Lester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Paulsworth Utd's Farrell Rutherford got a free kick in the 58th minute. Benjamin Lester struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Paulsworth Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barhart Todd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torey McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barhart Todd in the 65th minute of play. Gearoid Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torey McJames having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhart Todd in the 72nd minute of play forced Kishkeam's goalkeeper Torey McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barhart Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Torey McJames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Brennen McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kishkeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brennen McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
