Artur Colwell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barhart Todd showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Darick Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Paulsworth Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bard Taylor. After 26 played minutes, Carhoo's Bec McFrancise shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex McCollion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carhoo reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darick Callaghan got free with Artur Colwell in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Brayden McTommy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex McCollion was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Artur Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barhart Todd in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Paulsworth Utd's zone, Brayden McTommy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex McCollion came out of the goal and Brayden McTommy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute Bec McFrancise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Darick Callaghan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Colwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 48 played minutes Barhart Todd rounded Carhoo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Brayden McTommy made the kick off in the second half. Bec McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex McCollion having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Darrin McAaron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carhoo's supporters rose to their feet, but Darrin McAaron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex McCollion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geralt Dalton's late challenge caught a Paulsworth Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Paulsworth Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tevin Beckett to maneuver through the defense.
