Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thom Costello started the match with the kick off. When Santa Cavia came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Platoon Column fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santa Cavia couldn't finish the play. Beary Willson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Paud Mulvihill took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barhart McPaul. Falleens AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, Santa Cavia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barhart McPaul was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brandon Mullan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brandon Mullan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Falleens AFC booed when Platoon Column was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Platoon Column's Blavock McDonald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barhart McPaul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Peyton Martyn hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Santa Cavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Briain Hunt made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Teris Caffey sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Santa Cavia made the kick off in the second half. Santa Cavia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Barhart McPaul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paud Mulvihills short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Barhart McPaul to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 55 in the game by Paud Mulvihill from a close distance when the talented Barhart McPaul managed to make a qualified save. Falleens AFC's players were relieved. Blavock McDonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barhart McPaul having to make a save. Santa Cavia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barhart McPaul having to interfere. Barhart McPaul made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Paud Mulvihill sent off a good shot on target. When Santa Cavia came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Platoon Column fans jumped to their feet. In the 84th minute, Platoon Column's Orhan Baykır dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Santa Cavia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barhart McPaul having to interfere. In the 88th minute Iturri Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barhart McPaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Santa Cavia notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Falleens AFC's Barhart McPaul. Barhart McPaul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santa Cavia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barhart McPaul having to interfere. When the match was over Platoon Column could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Falleens AFC throughout the match.
