Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Breenan Kelly started the match with the kick off. Tine's Harrigan McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tormaigh Sheridan in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tine's zone, Tormaigh Sheridan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harrigan McVictor came out of the goal and Tormaigh Sheridan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breenan Kelly in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harrigan McVictor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ainnle McWilliam's late challenge caught a Crossconnell AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ainnle McWilliam helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Tine got a freekick which was hit by Ainnle McWilliam. Breenan Kelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keegan McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, Tine's Desmond Costello made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conn Hughes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tine's Harrigan McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breenan Kelly in the 30th minute of play. Conn Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keegan McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Blamhac McJohnny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conn Hughes. Crossconnell AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Tine's Keegan McJohnny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conn Hughes. Conn Hughes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keegan McJohnny to make the kick off. Desmond Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conn Hughes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keegan McJohnny in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conn Hughes saved Crossconnell AFC from getting behind. After 58 played minutes Crossconnell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Louie Hutton. If Keegan McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conn Hughes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desmond Costello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 66 in the game by Tormaigh Sheridan from a close distance when the talented Harrigan McVictor managed to make a qualified save. Tine's players were relieved. In the 68thth minute of the game Breenan Kelly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tine's Harrigan McVictor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tormaigh Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Harrigan McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keegan McJohnny in the 73rd minute of play forced Crossconnell AFC's goalkeeper Conn Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tine's Desmond Costello in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crossconnell AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Keegan McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Conn Hughes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tine. If Desmond Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harrigan McVictor made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tormaigh Sheridan sent off a good shot on target. Flann Matthews kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tine's Harrigan McVictor got control of the ball when Tormaigh Sheridan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Desmond Costello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Louie Hutton hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Tormaigh Sheridan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crossconnell AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tine the free kick. After 94 played minutes Crossconnell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tormaigh Sheridan. Desmond Costello succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Tine were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Crossconnell AFC for a fine match.
