When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alan Savic to make the kick off. Comhghall Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cathal Perth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Peter McLian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baiscend Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Savic in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Duneen FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Britain McLaughlin hit a great ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duneen FC's goalkeeper Baiscend Kelly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Peter McLian sped through Duneen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baiscend Kelly. The supporters of Duneen FC booed when Shruthair AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baoithin Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baiscend Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Savic in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Alan Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiscend Kelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baoithin Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baiscend Kelly having to interfere. Duneen FC's Baiscend Kelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Savic in the 88th minute of play. Cathal Perth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bola Ferguson in the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
