Harrigan McVictor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theobald McSteven, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theobald McSteven was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Hewney McWilliam successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Desmond Costello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Hewney McWilliam made a huge save. Desmond Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desmond Costello couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Desmond Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tine's supporters rose to their feet, but Desmond Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hewney McWilliam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slievebane AFC's Hewney McWilliam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Slievebane AFC from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Slievebane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Keegan McJohnny came free, but Hewney McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Desmond Costello came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tine fans jumped to their feet. Hewney McWilliam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blamhac McJohnny went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Theobald McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harrigan McVictor having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Slievebane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Keegan McJohnny came free, but Hewney McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hewney McWilliam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desmond Costello in the 92nd minute. After 96 played minutes, Slievebane AFC's Patty Keegan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harrigan McVictor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Slievebane AFC reached it.
