Ballynagore AFC's Logan Scully proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ballynagore AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee gave Breen Cassin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Breen Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Logan Scully stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thom Costello's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Teris Caffey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Logan Scully having to make a save. Logan Scully didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Falleens AFC's Thom Costello shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gearóid Perth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Scully having to interfere. Falleens AFC's Teris Caffey came free and shot a quick shot against goal 30 minutes in the game, fortunately Logan Scully had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 31st minute, Rowe McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teris Caffey got free with Logan Scully in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Ballynagore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Costello came free, but Logan Scully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teris Caffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Scully having to interfere. Logan Scully made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teris Caffey in the 44th minute. Teris Caffey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Logan Scully made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flann Ryan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Flann Ryan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballynagore AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flann Ryan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barhart McPaul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flann Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barhart McPaul having to interfere. Gearóid Perth's late challenge caught a Ballynagore AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With his leg Barhart McPaul managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Ballynagore AFC's Flann Ryan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teris Caffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Logan Scully having to interfere. Thom Costello struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Logan Scully didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falleens AFC. Falleens AFC's Teris Caffey got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ballynagore AFC's Logan Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thom Costello in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ballynagore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Costello came free, but Logan Scully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gearóid Perth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
