Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1807, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Santa Cavia made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Fachtna Todd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Platoon Column the free kick. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tine! In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Platoon Column. Santa Cavia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Harrigan McVictor. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flann Matthews during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flann Matthews hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Santa Cavia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platoon Column's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santa Cavia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tine's Desmond Costello got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santa Cavia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harrigan McVictor having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Santa Cavia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Harrigan McVictor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Platoon Column booed when Tine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ainnle McWilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santa Cavia came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harrigan McVictor could save by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Santa Cavia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tine's Harrigan McVictor. Harrigan McVictor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santa Cavia kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 30thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Tine's keeper Harrigan McVictor was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Santa Cavia in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harrigan McVictor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Santa Cavia could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Harrigan McVictor however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Tine's zone, Paud Mulvihill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harrigan McVictor came out of the goal and Paud Mulvihill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tine's Harrigan McVictor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Tine from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes of play, Platoon Column's Iturri Romero made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harrigan McVictor was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 46 minutes, Keegan McJohnny made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Platoon Column's Briain Hunt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Santa Cavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Brandon Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ainnle McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harrigan McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santa Cavia in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Platoon Column's goal looked a bit too open when Keegan McJohnny came free, but Briain Hunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tine's Harrigan McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santa Cavia in the 67th minute of play. Harrigan McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iturri Romero in the 69th minute of play. Harrigan McVictor came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Platoon Column's Paud Mulvihill. But to his dismay, Paud Mulvihill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. With a little luck, Platoon Column's Briain Hunt got control of the ball when Desmond Costello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keegan McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Briain Hunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tine. After 91 played minutes Tine got a freekick which was hit by Flann Matthews. After 95 played minutes Platoon Column got a freekick which was hit by Piers Prunty. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Platoon Column had played much better football throughout.
