Brenna McWilliam helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Ballynagore AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brenna McWilliam. In the 13th minute, Donncha Moran sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ballynagore AFC's Logan Scully didn't even have to move. 15 minutes into the match, Ballynagore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Savic came free, but Logan Scully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ballynagore AFC's Logan Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter McLian in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter McLian in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Logan Scully prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shruthair AFC's Cathal Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cathal Taylor in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Alan Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Logan Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alan Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Alan Savic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Logan Scully showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Savic in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alan Savic was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ballynagore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Savic came free, but Logan Scully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes Ballynagore AFC got a freekick which was hit by Breen Cassin. Logan Scully stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Savic's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Cathal Taylor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cathal Perth was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. With a little luck, Ballynagore AFC's Logan Scully got control of the ball when Peter McLian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Logan Scully made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Peter McLian sent off a good shot on target. After 78 played minutes Ballynagore AFC got a freekick which was hit by Breen Cassin. Peter McLian in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Logan Scully, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alan Savic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Logan Scully read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Ballynagore AFC's goalkeeper Logan Scully had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter McLian. Alan Savic was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Shruthair AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Alan Savic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shruthair AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Savic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Logan Scully breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter McLian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Logan Scully having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Peter McLian put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Logan Scully. The Ballynagore AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Shruthair AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Shruthair AFC.
