A collision led to Falleens AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Becan McVictor hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Slievebane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patty Keegan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Theobald McSteven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slievebane AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theobald McSteven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barhart McPaul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theobald McSteven in the 17th minute of play forced Falleens AFC's goalkeeper Barhart McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Falleens AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gearóid Perth hit a great ball. After 20 minutes, Donn Holt made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Falleens AFC's Barhart McPaul tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Falleens AFC's Donavin Palmer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hewney McWilliam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teris Caffey in the 31st minute of play forced Slievebane AFC's goalkeeper Hewney McWilliam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Slievebane AFC's zone, Teris Caffey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hewney McWilliam came out of the goal and Teris Caffey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Teris Caffey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falleens AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teris Caffey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hewney McWilliam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teris Caffey had several of the Slievebane AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Hewney McWilliam as he didn't even see the shot coming. Hewney McWilliam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teris Caffey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Gearóid Perth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falleens AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slievebane AFC the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teris Caffey to make the kick off. Barhart McPaul made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Theobald McSteven sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Teris Caffey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falleens AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 62nd minute, Donavin Palmer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hewney McWilliam was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 70 minutes into the game, Falleens AFC's Teris Caffey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hewney McWilliam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Teris Caffey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falleens AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teris Caffey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hewney McWilliam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teris Caffey in the 77th minute of the match. Kyle Costello kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Slievebane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teris Caffey came free, but Hewney McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theobald McSteven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Barhart McPaul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hewney McWilliam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teris Caffey went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Donavin Palmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falleens AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Falleens AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
