Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Barhart Hutton made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in DLSFC's zone, Raymun Taylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shea Lavine came out of the goal and Raymun Taylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute Barhart Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boethis McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roordan Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Callan booed when DLSFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ravan John didn't get a good kick on the ball. Callan's Rowen McNamara got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Rowen McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowen McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boethis McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ravan John in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Ravan John took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Boethis McGlenn to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trien McMichel in the 24th minute of play forced DLSFC's goalkeeper Shea Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Callan's Trien McMichel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shea Lavine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Boethis McGlenn made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Cleary McGlynn sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Trien McMichel made the kick off in the second half. Boethis McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barhart Hutton in the 51st minute of play. Alex Beckett hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Cleary McGlynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boethis McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Callan's Giles Sheridan got a free kick in the 66th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Callan's goal looked a bit too open when Tadhg Ferguson came free, but Boethis McGlenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Callan's Trien McMichel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shea Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trien McMichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Boethis McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ravan John in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Callan got a freekick which was hit by Giles Sheridan. In the 91st minute, Cleary McGlynn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roordan Crowe hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the DLSFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
