Branigan McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Banvan Taylor was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Blanche McNamee capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blanche McNamee really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Hickey Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bricin Deans in the 12th minute of the match. POKER WOMAN's Hickey Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bricin Deans in the 14th minute of play. With an all-out effort, POKER WOMAN's Banvan Taylor threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Blanche McNamee, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th match minute, Tallaght United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geary Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. When Kevin Gillmour came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Tallaght United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Gillmour couldn't finish the play. If Leon McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banvan Taylor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanche McNamee in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Bragain Dalton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POKER WOMAN and the Tallaght United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, POKER WOMAN's Bragain Dalton got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Hickey Taylor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Gillmour's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon McVictor got free with Banvan Taylor in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Blanche McNamee made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Kevin Gillmour tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hickey Taylor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 61st minute Blanche McNamee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Banvan Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play POKER WOMAN's Bragain Dalton was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th minute, Bragain Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, POKER WOMAN's Blanche McNamee got a free kick in the 70th minute. Tallaght United's Louis Rutherford couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for POKER WOMAN. Blanche McNamee kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes POKER WOMAN got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin McNamee. 82 minutes into the match, POKER WOMAN's goalkeeper Hickey Taylor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bricin Deans. Bricin Deans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hickey Taylor having to interfere. Kevin Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind POKER WOMAN's goalkeeper Hickey Taylor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. POKER WOMAN's Hickey Taylor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save POKER WOMAN from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bricin Deans got free with Hickey Taylor in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. POKER WOMAN's Hickey Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Gillmour in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. POKER WOMAN had won after a very even match.
