Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Britt Beckett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 minutes of play, Barroosky's Britt Beckett made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Declan McWillie was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Riddoc McSteve in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Churchvilla's Bearchan McFrank. A collision led to Churchvilla getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Breen Martyn hit a great ball. Barroosky's Britt Beckett got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Britt Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barroosky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Britt Beckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Britt Beckett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barroosky fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 26th match minute, Churchvilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bearchan McFrank to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Britt Beckett in the 27th minute of play forced Churchvilla's goalkeeper Declan McWillie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Breen Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aaron Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Declan McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Britt Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Britt Beckett might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Declan McWillie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Britt Beckett ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Breen Martyn made the kick off in the second half. Declan McWillie was a little too slow when Britt Beckett got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Britt Beckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Declan McWillie having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Aaron Frankson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cacey Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerrigan Brennan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Frankson's late challenge caught a Churchvilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Frankson helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Breen Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churchvilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Breen Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacey Callaghan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Churchvilla's zone, Aaron Frankson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Declan McWillie came out of the goal and Aaron Frankson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cacey Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerrigan Brennan in the 88th minute of play. Britt Beckett struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Declan McWillie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barroosky. A sloppy throw-in by Caroll McPhil in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Churchvilla's Kerrigan Brennan. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Churchvilla lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
