Spectators: 8043 (Terracing: 6033, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kealan McJon took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Brady Murphy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brann Ferguson. Fethard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brady Murphy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 8 played minutes Fethard got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Prunty. Brann Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brady Murphy in the 9th minute of play. Fethard's Brann Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brady Murphy in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Kealan McJon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bellanamore's Kealan McJon in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fethard's goalie prevented a goal. Brann Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kealan McJon in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kealan McJon in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brann Ferguson saved Fethard from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Kealan McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellanamore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kealan McJon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kealan McJon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kealan McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Brann Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brady Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Brann Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Oliver McStephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ros Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver McStephen's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Fethard's goal looked a bit too open when Kealan McJon came free, but Brann Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Kealan McJon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bellanamore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Fethard's goalkeeper Brann Ferguson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brady Murphy. Bellanamore's Brady Murphy got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brady Murphy struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Brann Ferguson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bellanamore. Peter McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Fethard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter McIan to maneuver through the defense. Peter McIan was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Peter McIan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Kealan McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brann Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brann Ferguson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kealan McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blathmac Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ros Horgan having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Bellanamore's Kealan McJon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brann Ferguson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brann Ferguson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kealan McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Brendan Prunty was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The long shot by Rollin Willson in the 89th minute really tested Brann Ferguson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Blathmac Caffrey hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Kealan McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann Ferguson having to interfere. When the match was over Bellanamore could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fethard throughout the match.
