Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Piers Prunty got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Freneystown's goal looked a bit too open when Piers Prunty came free, but Aengus Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phillip McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Coyle having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Piers Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Sabinow Power's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piers Prunty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gordon Prunty took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Coyle. Douglas Coyle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Douglas Coyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Phillip McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillip McJon got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 28th match minute before Douglas Coyle had time to react. Phillip McJon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Douglas Coyle made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Bean McAaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Freneystown's Gordon Prunty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Coyle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freneystown's Phillip McJon got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas Coyle didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Phillip McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 44th minute Freneystown were awarded a corner. Beltany Taylor went to the cornerflag to take it. Freneystown's Beltany Taylor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Douglas Coyle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to FC Sabinow Power getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Torran McAlphie hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Gordon Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Coyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Prunty in the 56th minute of play. Aengus Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piers Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phillip McJon in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Coyle saved FC Sabinow Power from getting behind. Gordon Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Coyle having to interfere. In the 69th minute Gordon Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Coyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, FC Sabinow Power's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip McJon came free, but Douglas Coyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, FC Sabinow Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samueil McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th match minute, FC Sabinow Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brain McMichel to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Prunty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas Coyle having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phillip McJon in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Coyle saved FC Sabinow Power from getting behind. Freneystown walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
