Fc Super Tata's Bray Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darrin Perth in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Shannon Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Super Tata's supporters rose to their feet, but Shannon Ghee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batt McGlynn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrin Perth in the 16th minute of play forced Fc Super Tata's goalkeeper Bray Perth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beagan Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Batt McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bray Perth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirk Branson in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Fc Super Tata booed when Tops was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Banan McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quirk Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beagan Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Batt McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Darrin Perth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Colm McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Tops's Isaac McNamara tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quirk Branson to make the kick off. Shannon Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batt McGlynn having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Bowen Dillon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Super Tata and the Tops players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute Quirk Branson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bray Perth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bray Perth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirk Branson in the 76th minute of the match. Beairtle Savic hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Fc Super Tata's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Quirk Branson 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Batt McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shannon Ghee in the 94th minute of play. Tops's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
