Spectators: 8045 (Terracing: 6035, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kealan McJon kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Glenn McJon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barca Cork's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glenn McJon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Barca Cork defense, Brady Murphy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geralt McNamara. The FC Barca Cork fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geralt McNamara should have stopped the shot. Seoirse Dillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brady Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geralt McNamara having to interfere. Geralt McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brady Murphy in the 37th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Kealan McJon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barca Cork's Geralt McNamara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geralt McNamara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kealan McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bellanamore's goalkeeper Ros Horgan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geralt McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kealan McJon in the 49th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seoirse Dillon was the one to do the kick off. Berkley Quinnless tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ros Horgan. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 53rd minute. Seoirse Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ros Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brady Murphy got free with Geralt McNamara in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ros Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seoirse Dillon went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Logan Bayes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ros Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seoirse Dillon in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of FC Barca Cork booed when Bellanamore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finian McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Brady Murphy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geralt McNamara. Brady Murphy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Brady Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Geralt McNamara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kealan McJon in the 87th minute of play forced FC Barca Cork's goalkeeper Geralt McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brady Murphy got free with Geralt McNamara in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geralt McNamara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brady Murphy in the 96th minute. Despite being the better team, Bellanamore failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
