Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Seán Hughes made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of DUUB booed when Keanu Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theobald Dillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DUUB's zone, Birr Grant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corey Willson came out of the goal and Birr Grant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bellaghy Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donoghue Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack McJohn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bellaghy Robinson. Keanu Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Seán Hughes struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Bellaghy Robinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DUUB. After 13 played minutes Keanu Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bergin Hughes. A collision led to DUUB getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dennis Dillon hit a great ball. Bellaghy Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seán Hughes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bellaghy Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seán Hughes in the 27th minute of play. The DUUB fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when DUUB's Seán Hughes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35thth minute of the game Seán Hughes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Keanu Utd's Bellaghy Robinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Seán Hughes sped through Keanu Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bellaghy Robinson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seán Hughes in the 38th minute of play forced Keanu Utd's goalkeeper Bellaghy Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bellaghy Robinson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seán Hughes went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, DUUB's Jack McJohn got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Aubrey Lester sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Keanu Utd's Bellaghy Robinson didn't even have to move. Theobald Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half DUUB were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Turlough Beckett made the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Carrigan McPaul in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DUUB's Dennis Dillon. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Seán Hughes took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Bellaghy Robinson to make any attempt to save it. Pearse Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bellaghy Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bellaghy Robinson was a little too slow when Seán Hughes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-5. 69 minutes into the game, Jack McJohn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DUUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keanu Utd the free kick. Jack McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Kevion McFrank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Turlough Beckett sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Corey Willson skillfully saved the ball. Turlough Beckett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corey Willson having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dennis Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. DUUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bellaghy Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th match minute, DUUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pearse Costello to maneuver through the defense. Seán Hughes helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes DUUB got a freekick which was hit by Seán Hughes. In the 92nd minute Gearroid McFrank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corey Willson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turlough Beckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corey Willson having to interfere. DUUB's Dennis Dillon got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Dennis Dillon off the ground. Dennis Dillon hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
