Spectators: 7529 (Terracing: 6029, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Donald McSteve started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Flannery Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuerty FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flannery Gallagher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corey Willson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5thth minute of the game Donald McSteve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DUUB's Corey Willson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Seán Hughes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleary Crowe. Fuerty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seán Hughes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pearse Costello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleary Crowe having to make a save. Cleary Crowe made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Pearse Costello sent off a good shot on target. If Aubrey Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Seán Hughes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DUUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seán Hughes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donald McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Louis Prunty charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louis Prunty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Louis Prunty hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Aubrey Lester sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fuerty FC's Cleary Crowe didn't even have to move. Corey Willson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flannery Gallagher's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Flannery Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donald McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Corey Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aubrey Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleary Crowe having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DUUB's Declan Johnson got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Seán Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleary Crowe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aubrey Lester in the 60th minute of play forced Fuerty FC's goalkeeper Cleary Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes of play Fuerty FC's Louis Prunty was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Louis Prunty kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Seán Hughes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DUUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Flannery Gallagher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Corey Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flannery Gallagher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corey Willson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Logan Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Corey Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flannery Gallagher got free with Corey Willson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Gearalt Deery in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DUUB's Pearse Costello. In the 87th minute, Dennis Dillon made a precise shot to the right of Cleary Crowe. Fuerty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Pearse Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cleary Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fuerty FC defense, Seán Hughes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleary Crowe. The Fuerty FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleary Crowe should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the DUUB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
