Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Miseal AFC's Peadar Lester started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peadar Lester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Blathmacc McLaughlin made a huge save. Patty Scully could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Blathmacc McLaughlin made a huge save. Firmount's Blathmacc McLaughlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Firmount from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Firmount's goal looked a bit too open when Peadar Lester came free, but Blathmacc McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blathmacc McLaughlin made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Patty Scully sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Miseal AFC's Blathmacc McLaughlin threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cormac McFrank, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cormac McFrank in the 12th minute of play forced Firmount's goalkeeper Blathmacc McLaughlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torran McCollion in the 15th minute of play forced Miseal AFC's goalkeeper Brendan McFrancise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blathmacc McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cormac McFrank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Firmount's Branson Moran got a free kick in the 24th minute. Firmount's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Patty Scully scored to the left of an out of position Blathmacc McLaughlin, making the score, 2-0. Blathmacc McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cormac McFrank in the 35th minute of the match. Barney McCready hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Brak Hunt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blathmacc McLaughlin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Blathmacc McLaughlin was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Peadar Lester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peadar Lester really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Torran McCollion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peadar Lester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rordan McJon to make the kick off. If Cormac McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Barney McCready could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Brendan McFrancise however easily saved by the left post. Trevor McAlphie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan McFrancise having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Firmount's goal looked a bit too open when Peadar Lester came free, but Blathmacc McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blathmacc McLaughlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peadar Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Trevor McAlphie suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Firmount made a substitution. Brannon Todd replaced Trevor McAlphie. Miseal AFC's Brendan McFrancise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rordan McJon in the 92nd minute of play. Barney McCready made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 95thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Brendan McFrancise would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Firmount players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Miseal AFC.
