Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ireland Monsters's Derrick McBjarton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carrig McWilliam charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carrig McWilliam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Ireland Monsters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carrig McWilliam to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 5 minutes, Torran McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firmount's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torran McCollion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bebhinn Hunt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barney McCready in the 10th minute. The supporters of Firmount booed when Ireland Monsters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Banvan McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Bebhinn Hunt managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Firmount's Barney McCready fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rordan McJon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ireland Monsters's Bebhinn Hunt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barney McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bebhinn Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bebhinn Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rordan McJon in the 28th minute of the match. When Firmount's Rordan McJon in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ireland Monsters's goalie prevented a goal. Barney McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ireland Monsters's Bebhinn Hunt got control of the ball when Barney McCready tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Firmount fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Firmount's Rordan McJon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barney McCready to make the kick off. Bebhinn Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Barney McCready took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebhinn Hunt. Bebhinn Hunt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Bebhinn Hunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torran McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bebhinn Hunt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barney McCready's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Bebhinn Hunt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barney McCready went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Barney McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bebhinn Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bebhinn Hunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rordan McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Rordan McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebhinn Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rordan McJon took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebhinn Hunt. Bebhinn Hunt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Trevor McAlphie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebhinn Hunt having to interfere. In the 96th minute Barney McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebhinn Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Firmount had played much better football throughout.
