Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bren Branson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute Coran McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colm Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match Alex Ramsey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Colm Quinnless skillfully saved the ball. Colm Quinnless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coran McVictor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Gealan McWill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colm Quinnless was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Berchan Horgan hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Coran McVictor took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colm Quinnless. Colm Quinnless dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bodibeua Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berchan Horgan in the 24th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Beagan Horgan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salia Sparta Club and the Rockmills players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Salia Sparta Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beagan Horgan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rockmills getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gealan McWill hit a great ball. Gealan McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute of the match Alex Ramsey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Colm Quinnless showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Rockmills booed when Salia Sparta Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beagan Horgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Edward Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colm Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Salia Sparta Club defense, Coran McVictor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colm Quinnless. The Salia Sparta Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colm Quinnless should have stopped the shot. After the first half Rockmills were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Edward Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Rockmills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Ramsey to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Gilbeirt Savic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bodibeua Glen Crowe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Coran McVictor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Colm Quinnless. Coran McVictor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Colm Quinnless stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coran McVictor's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Salia Sparta Club's Daron McWilliam got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute, Rockmills's Edward Hutton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Colm Quinnless. Colm Quinnless yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Gealan McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Quinnless having to interfere. Edward Huttons short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Colm Quinnless to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 87th match minute, Rockmills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donegan Duggan to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes Salia Sparta Club got a freekick which was hit by Beagan Horgan. Rockmills's Alex Ramsey shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Colm Quinnless but with some difficulty. A collision led to Salia Sparta Club getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Berchan Horgan hit a great ball. If Edward Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colm Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donegan Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After some careless play in the Salia Sparta Club defense, Edward Hutton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colm Quinnless. The Salia Sparta Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colm Quinnless should have stopped the shot. Rockmills played a much better game than Salia Sparta Club and deserved their victory. The Salia Sparta Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
