Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peadar Lester took the kick off in the first half of the match. Peadar Lester charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peadar Lester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peadar Lester kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Cormac McFrank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Bell Dimson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Illanbaun's Barra Willson. Barra Willson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cormac McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Cormac McFrank notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Illanbaun's Barra Willson. Barra Willson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Brendan McFrancise managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Illanbaun's Geoffrey McBrand fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Geoffrey McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoffrey McBrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Brendan McFrancise made a huge save. Barra Willson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peadar Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedilia Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geoffrey McBrand was the one to do the kick off. Brendan McFrancise stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geoffrey McBrand's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Brendan McFrancise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffrey McBrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geoffrey McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Benjamin McLaughlin fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illanbaun's protests and gave Benjamin McLaughlin a yellow card for diving instead. Benjamin McLaughlin hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Illanbaun's Geoffrey McBrand in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 81 minutes of play, Miseal AFC's Patty Scully made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barra Willson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Bil Gallagher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Illanbaun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miseal AFC the free kick. After 92 played minutes Illanbaun got a freekick which was hit by Bil Gallagher. In the 97th minute, Peadar Lester reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barra Willson. The goal made the score 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Miseal AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Illanbaun.
