Berchan McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Delaney having to interfere. Ryley Gallagher's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Benedict Delaney skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gilbert Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ryley Gallagher in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedict Delaney, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benedict Delaney made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ryley Gallagher sent off a good shot on target. Pearse Delaney struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Ryley Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Marina F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryley Gallagher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ryley Gallaghers short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Benedict Delaney to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Berchan McSteve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Benedict Delaney made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryley Gallagher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scot McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bercan Hamilton came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria Crossers's Scot McTommy. But to his dismay, Scot McTommy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Benedict Delaney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryley Gallagher's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 60 played minutes, Rio Marina F.C's Brann McCollion shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benedict Delaney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rio Marina F.C reached it. Bercan McNamara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Ryley Gallagher notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Victoria Crossers's Benedict Delaney. Benedict Delaney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryley Gallagher in the 71st minute of play forced Victoria Crossers's goalkeeper Benedict Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Rio Marina F.C's Ryleigh Lavine seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ryleigh Lavine the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rio Marina F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ryleigh Lavine had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 75 minutes into the game, one of Rio Marina F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Victoria Crossers's Donagh Scully got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bercan Hamilton. The audience was convinced that Ryley Gallagher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedict Delaney was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Lawrence McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes, Raonall McPeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Crossers and the Rio Marina F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Victoria Crossers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raonall McPeter to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Rio Marina F.C's Lawrence McTom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedict Delaney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryley Gallagher in the 89th minute of play forced Victoria Crossers's goalkeeper Benedict Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rio Marina F.C's Ryley Gallagher in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benedict Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bercan McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Victoria Crossers got a freekick which was hit by Raonall McPeter. 95 minutes into the game, Rio Marina F.C's Lawrence McTom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedict Delaney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. When the referee ended the match the Rio Marina F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
