Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Victoria Crossers's Scot McTommy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Cloonymorris's Tipper Colwell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedict Delaney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cloonymorris's Bray McGlenn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scot McTommy in the 10th minute of play. In the 18th minute Tipper Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blaire Rutherford's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Bray McGlenn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benedict Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tipper Colwell in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Troy Morrison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Crossers and the Cloonymorris players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Victoria Crossers got a freekick which was hit by Troy Morrison. Blaire Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bray McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cloonymorris's Breanainn McFrancise got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Duff Callaghan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedict Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tipper Colwell in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Victoria Crossers's Troy Morrison got a free kick in the 36th minute. Cloonymorris's Duff Callaghan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tipper Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benedict Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tipper Colwell was the one to do the kick off. If Tipper Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Benedict Delaney managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Cloonymorris's Duff Callaghan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Victoria Crossers defense, Tipper Colwell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedict Delaney. The Victoria Crossers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedict Delaney should have stopped the shot. Bray McGlenn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blaire Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cloonymorris getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Suibhne Rutherford hit a great ball. If Blaire Rutherford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedict Delaney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duff Callaghan went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 78th play minute Bannon Silke came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benedict Delaney. 0-5. In the 84th minute, Duff Callaghan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloonymorris fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Duff Callaghan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedict Delaney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Victoria Crossers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cloonymorris were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
