Trough's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Reamann Dalton scored to the left of an out of position Balor Hamilton, making the score, 1-0. Shiel Cooney's late challenge caught a Trough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shiel Cooney helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leahgarrow FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Shiel Cooney hit a great ball. The supporters of Leahgarrow FC booed when Trough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradner McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leahgarrow FC's Brandon Doherty shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Balor Hamilton but with some difficulty. When Bragan Grant fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trough's protests and gave Bragan Grant a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Bragan Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reamann Dalton in the 39th minute of play forced Trough's goalkeeper Balor Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balor Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reamann Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brain MaCollin got free with Balor Hamilton in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Balor Hamilton was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Reamann Dalton notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Trough's Balor Hamilton. Balor Hamilton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Balor Hamilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shiel Cooney in the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Trough's goal looked a bit too open when Shiel Cooney came free, but Balor Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leahgarrow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brandon Doherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leahgarrow FC fully deserved thier win.
