Bohemian FC's Leonard McWilliam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Brennan in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Payton Hamilton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antaine Byrne. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Tomás Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Leonard McWilliam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Irwin Deans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunlahy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bohemian FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Bunlahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irwin Deans to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bunlahy's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Bohemian FC booed when Bunlahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roordan Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Theodore McJames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antaine Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bunlahy's Fergal McNamara got a free kick in the 29th minute. Leonard McWilliam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beatty McFrank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bunlahy's Beatty McFrank in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bohemian FC's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Bohemian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Brennan came free, but Leonard McWilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barclay Kelly to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Bunlahy's goal looked a bit too open when Payton Hamilton came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antaine Byrne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barclay Kelly went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Payton Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tomás Brennan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Leonard McWilliam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunlahy. Pearse Frankson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Antaine Byrne came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Bohemian FC's Barclay Kelly. But to his dismay, Barclay Kelly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bunlahy's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Payton Hamilton in the 79th minute of play. If Brogan Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Beatty McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bohemian FC had played much better football throughout.
