Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Beatty McFrank made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Bunlahy's Beltany Harkin got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryley Gallagher in the 8th minute of play forced Bunlahy's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bunlahy getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Brogan Caffey hit a great ball. Brogan Sheridan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Bunlahy's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryley Gallagher in the 23rd minute of play. When Tomás Brennan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Bunlahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Brennan couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Bunlahy's goal looked a bit too open when Ryley Gallagher came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Brogan Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beatty McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bercan Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Beatty McFrank reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bercan Hamilton. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryley Gallagher to strike the kick off in the second half. Berchan McSteve struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Antaine Byrne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Marina F.C. After having played for 64 minutes, Pearse Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Marina F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pearse Delaney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fergal McNamara fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunlahy's protests and gave Fergal McNamara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bunlahy's Fergal McNamara got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Ryley Gallagher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antaine Byrne. Bunlahy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryley Gallagher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Beatty McFrank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Bunlahy's goal looked a bit too open when Ryley Gallagher came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Bardan Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Marina F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bardan Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Rio Marina F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bunlahy.
