Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tipper Colwell made the kick off and thus started the match. Antaine Byrne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duff Callaghan in the 7th minute. When Jeremiah McFrancise fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunlahy's protests and gave Jeremiah McFrancise a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremiah McFrancise kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Duff Callaghan could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Antaine Byrne however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute of the match Irving McFrank shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antaine Byrne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Phelan Tierney hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Bunlahy's Antaine Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Bunlahy from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Bunlahy got a freekick which was hit by Pearse Frankson. In the 31st minute, Duff Callaghan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antaine Byrne was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bunlahy's Brogan Sheridan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tipper Colwell in the 34th minute of play forced Bunlahy's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bunlahy's Antaine Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Bunlahy from getting a goal against them. Bunlahy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tipper Colwell 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 43rd match minute, Cloonymorris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Rutherford to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Duff Callaghan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Bunlahy getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Irwin Deans hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Tipper Colwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 minutes, Duff Callaghan made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bunlahy's Antaine Byrne tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brogan Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bray McGlenn having to interfere. If Bannon Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremiah McFrancise got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 68th minute Tipper Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antaine Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Colm Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Duff Callaghan notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Bunlahy's Antaine Byrne. Antaine Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Tipper Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antaine Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antaine Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duff Callaghan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Cloonymorris's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomás Brennan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antaine Byrne came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloonymorris's Bannon Silke. But to his dismay, Bannon Silke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Pearse Frankson's late challenge caught a Cloonymorris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pearse Frankson helped the player get up and apologised. Beatty McFrank charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beatty McFrank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bunlahy getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Beatty McFrank hit a great ball. After 94 minutes, Colm Palmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunlahy and the Cloonymorris players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Cloonymorris players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
