Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bourns Horgan started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Lochlainn McVictor put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bray McGlenn. In the 13th minute of the match Suibhne Rutherford sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Coyle skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Cloonymorris's Bannon Silke got a free kick in the 16th minute. Irving McFrank hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Patrick Coyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tipper Colwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Patrick Coyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tipper Colwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baolach McAaron hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Tipper Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was a well-played corner which Bannon Silke managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bannon Silke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Coyle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Patrick Coyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duff Callaghan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tipper Colwell in the 48th minute of play forced East Coast Fc's goalkeeper Patrick Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tipper Colwell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bray McGlenn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bourns Horgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Lochlainn McVictor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bray McGlenn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Lochlainn McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bray McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bourns Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bray McGlenn having to interfere. Duff Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cloonymorris's Bray McGlenn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lochlainn McVictor in the 80th minute of play. Duff Callaghan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Coyle having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloonymorris's goalkeeper Bray McGlenn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Tipper Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloonymorris's supporters rose to their feet, but Tipper Colwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Coyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Lochlainn McVictor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bray McGlenn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Lochlainn McVictor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bray McGlenn. Cloonymorris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lochlainn McVictor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. East Coast Fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cloonymorris for a fine match.
