Benedict Delaney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beatty McFrank's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scot McTommy to strike the kick off in the second half. If Scot McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scot McTommy in the 56th minute of play forced Bunlahy's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antaine Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Victoria Crossers's Benedict Delaney got control of the ball when Beatty McFrank tried to sneak it across the goal line.
