In the 8th minute, Paul Brennan made a precise shot to the right of Herygh Johnson. Garrycullen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 11th minute, Comhghall McPeter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Batt Deans sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herygh Johnson skillfully saved the ball. In the 13th minute Rigan Dillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herygh Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raonall Coyle charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raonall Coyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Garrycullen got a freekick which was hit by Raonall Coyle. Ailill Hunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ailill Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan McJames in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ryan McJames made a precise shot to the right of Ailill Hunt. Clarbarracum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Garrycullen getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Raonall Coyle hit a great ball. Theodore Dillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ryan McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan McJames in the 33rd minute of play forced Clarbarracum's goalkeeper Ailill Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herygh Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigan Dillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ryan McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailill Hunt having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Clarbarracum's Paul Brennan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herygh Johnson. Herygh Johnson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryan McJames made a kick off. Ryan McJames hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Clarbarracum's Baiscend McGlynn got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 68 played minutes Clarbarracum got a freekick which was hit by Batt Deans. After a defensive mix-up in Clarbarracum's zone, Raonall Coyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ailill Hunt came out of the goal and Raonall Coyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Beachain Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ailill Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigan Dillon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Clarbarracum's Ailill Hunt got control of the ball when Ryan McJames tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Brennan in the 74th minute of play forced Garrycullen's goalkeeper Herygh Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kieran McWillie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ailill Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rigan Dillon fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clarbarracum's protests and gave Rigan Dillon a yellow card for diving instead. Rigan Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Ryan McJames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrycullen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan McJames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Comhghall McPeter hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Clarbarracum's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
