Herygh Johnson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Berchan McOliver. The White Eagle AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garrycullen were winning 0-2.

Raonall Coyle's late challenge caught a White Eagle AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raonall Coyle helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Garrycullen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of White Eagle AFC:s goal. Garrycullen:s Herygh Johnson showed great skill when he stopped Boylan Doherty:s penalty. A collision led to White Eagle AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Donal Morrison hit a great ball. Baran Dunne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan McJames went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Ryan McJames came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Garrycullen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan McJames couldn't finish the play. Barran McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Garrycullen's Ryan McJames ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baran Dunne. Baran Dunne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Ryan McJames succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 82nd playminute. After having played for 86 minutes, Kieran McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrycullen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kieran McWillie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brine Murphy charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brine Murphy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Garrycullen's Brine Murphy got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ryan McJames's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baran Dunne firmly grabbed it by the left post.
