Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aaden Cooney kicked off to start the match. After 11 played minutes Raferagh got a freekick which was hit by Earnán Gillmour. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Finbar McNamara during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Raferagh's Finbar McNamara got a free kick in the 15th minute. Baird McJohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derin Walker in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Raferagh's goal looked a bit too open when Derin Walker came free, but Baird McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derin Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baird McJohn having to interfere. If Britain McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Earnán Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raferagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Earnán Gillmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brosnan Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Britain McVictor put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baird McJohn. Aaden Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, Raferagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaden Cooney to maneuver through the defense. Baird McJohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derin Walker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neves FC's Brosnan Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaden Cooney in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Raferagh booed when Neves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berrigan Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Britain McVictor was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Raferagh's goalkeeper Baird McJohn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derin Walker. Baird McJohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Britain McVictor in the 54th minute of the match. Raferagh's Finbar McNamara got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Finbar McNamara off the ground. After 56 played minutes Raferagh got a freekick which was hit by Finbar McNamara. When Britain McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Neves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Britain McVictor couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Aaden Cooney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Brosnan Delaney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harold McBrand's late challenge caught a Raferagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harold McBrand helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Harold McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaden Cooney took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brosnan Delaney. Brosnan Delaney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Aaden Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Derin Walker got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 79th match minute, Neves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brennen Colwell to maneuver through the defense. Britain McVictor struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Baird McJohn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neves FC. Donegan Cronin might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brosnan Delaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donegan Cronin ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donegan Cronin in the 96th minute of play forced Neves FC's goalkeeper Brosnan Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raferagh's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
