Bradon Sheridan might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Terrence Johnson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradon Sheridan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Harrigan McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terrence Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas McBrandon in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Cavetown's goal looked a bit too open when Bradon Sheridan came free, but Terrence Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas McBrandon in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Terrence Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Barra McLaughlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barra McLaughlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Berna M1L GRAU booed when Cavetown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shea Moran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harrigan McWillie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Terrence Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terrence Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shea Moran charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shea Moran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alan Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bradley Palmer made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Banan John cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alan Ryan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bradon Sheridan fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berna M1L GRAU's protests and gave Bradon Sheridan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Berna M1L GRAU's Bradon Sheridan got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barra McLaughlin in the 59th minute of play forced Berna M1L GRAU's goalkeeper Alan Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Berna M1L GRAU's goal looked a bit too open when Don McSteve came free, but Alan Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradon Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berna M1L GRAU's Bradon Sheridan got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cavetown's zone, Harrigan McWillie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terrence Johnson came out of the goal and Harrigan McWillie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berna M1L GRAU's Alan Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barra McLaughlin in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banan John in the 77th minute of play forced Berna M1L GRAU's goalkeeper Alan Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Banan John's late challenge caught a Berna M1L GRAU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Banan John helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Shea Moran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Harrigan McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baydan Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Berna M1L GRAU getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Bradon Sheridan hit a great ball. Berna M1L GRAU's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
