Kain McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bannon Martyn in the 34th minute of play. With 35 minutes on the clock, Bebhinn Hughes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bebhinn Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Piers McGlynn hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Donoghue Doyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Connonagh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donoghue Doyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

58 minutes into the match, Barcvni John notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fahamore's Kain McLian. Kain McLian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brin Colwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basil McPeter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Fahamore got a freekick which was hit by Caimin Myler. The supporters of Connonagh booed when Fahamore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salmon McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaynor McNamee in the 71st minute of play forced Fahamore's goalkeeper Kain McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fahamore's zone, Gaynor McNamee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kain McLian came out of the goal and Gaynor McNamee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Fahamore's goal looked a bit too open when Barcvni John came free, but Kain McLian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brin Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil McPeter having to interfere. Fahamore's Kain McLian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barcvni John in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Quinn McBrandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes, Dewain Dempsey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Connonagh and the Fahamore players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dewain Dempsey hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Brin Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil McPeter having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
