Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reilly Doyle started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Jack McPhilip ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bodibeve McPhilip was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barock Grant during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kent FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Barock Grant hit a great ball. Bodibeve McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bercnan McGlynn in the 14th minute of play. Jack McPhilip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bodibeve McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batt Savic who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Raymun Callaghan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Reilly Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Healy Grant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dublin24 and the Kent FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Healy Grant hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Raymun Callaghan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batt Savic in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute Reilly Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymun Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Dublin24 booed when Kent FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tormaigh Branson didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dublin24's Ryland McPaul couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kent FC. Jack McPhilip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Dublin24 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jack McPhilip to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Shane Ferguson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kent FC and the FC Dublin24 players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Dublin24 were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Kent FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ryland McPaul took the corner. Bellaghy Dillon was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Raymun Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batt Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenn Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Kent FC's Batt Savic in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Dublin24's goalie prevented a goal. If Bercnan McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Reilly Doyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raymun Callaghan. FC Dublin24's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reilly Doyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nollaig Caffey's late challenge caught a FC Dublin24's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nollaig Caffey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kent FC's Nollaig Caffey got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Bercnan McGlynn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dublin24 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Bodibeve McPhilip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bercnan McGlynn in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Kent FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack McPhilip came free, but Bodibeve McPhilip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kent FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Dublin24's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Dublin24.
