Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carrig Scully took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Piers McGlynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fahamore and the Inter DC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fahamore's Piers McGlynn got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Quinn McBrandon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fahamore getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bebhinn Hughes hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Fahamore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald McLian to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes, Inter DC's Bowen McAlphie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kain McLian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter DC reached it. In the 22nd minute, Quinn McBrandon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Quinn McBrandon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred McLaughlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 34th minute, Ryleigh Mulvihill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick McDecland's late challenge caught a Inter DC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick McDecland helped the player get up and apologised. Alfred McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caimin Myler charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caimin Myler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Quinn McBrandon made the kick off in the second half. Alfred McLaughlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salmon McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Patrick McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Fahamore's goal looked a bit too open when Binean Walker came free, but Kain McLian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Gilbert Gallagher put in a rough tackle. Kain McLian was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Bowen McAlphie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bowen McAlphie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Kain McLian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carrig Scully in the 71st minute of the match. Inter DC's Ryleigh Mulvihill managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Caimin Myler in the 74 minute of the game. Carrig Scully could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kain McLian made a huge save. Salmon McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Donal Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kain McLian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carrig Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a little luck, Fahamore's Kain McLian got control of the ball when Paudraig Grant tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Fahamore fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter DC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
